Советский и американский джазовый тромбонист, пианист, композитор и вокалист.
Окончил школу музыкантских воспитанников и Уфимское училище искусств. С шестнадцати лет начал профессионально выступать в различных музыкальных коллективах Советского Союза.
Играл в ансамбле «Каданс» Германа Лукьянова, был пианистом, тромбонистом и вокалистом ансамблей «Новый электрон», «Коробейники», «Красные маки».
1977-1983 годах был ведущим солистом в оркестре Олега Лундстрема, в 1983-1989 годах - работал в ансамбле "Аллегро", в1989-1990 - в ансамбле «Мелодия».
Был лучшим тромбонистом Советского Союза.
Пробовал себя с разными составами в Нью-Иорке и Денвере, в том числе с такими звёздами американского джаза, как Лью Табакин, Бенни Голсон, Валерий Пономарёв, Карл Фонтана, Фредди Коул и другими.
