Геннадий Родин — музыкант уфимской рок-сцены, первый бас-гитарист и первый художественный руководитель группы «ДДТ».
На раннем этапе существования коллектива, до 1981 года, группа выступала под названием «ансамбль под управлением Геннадия Родина».
Стоял у истоков формирования коллектива и участвовал в его развитии в начальный период.
